Barot, a part of the Uhl river valley, is a small village situated in the Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. Activities: Trekking, Waterfall Rappelling, Bridge Slithering, River crossing, flying fox, Dam visit, campfire, and visit to Barot town.
 
Eligibility: 11 to 22 years. 
 
Camp Accommodation:  Separate accommodation for boys & girls will be in tents on 3/4 sharing basis. All tents are equipped with mattresses and sleeping bags/quilts, have electricity and attached toilets and bathrooms.
 
Please Carry: Five pairs of comfortable clothes, night dress, sweater, jacket, raincoat, bath towel, sports shoes, socks, sandals/floaters, woolen cap, woolen socks, gloves, air-pillow, water bottle, torch, daypack, folding umbrella and toiletries (soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, sunscreen, cold cream, lip balm etc.). Also carry an original photo ID proof. The participants may have to pay fine, wherever applicable in the absence of original photo ID.
 
All The Items: mentioned should preferably be packed in a rucksack that is easier to carry. Please do not bring any disposable items, ornaments and other valuables. Binoculars and camera are optional.
 
Cell Phones: are allowed but not during camp activities.
 
Registration: Please fill up the registration form and pay an advance of Rs. 10000/-  to confirm your booking along with a photocopy of your photo ID. The balance payment should reach our office at least 30 days before the commencement of the journey. Reservation is done on first come first served basis. Railway reservation will depend on the availability of tickets.
 
Certificate: A specially designed certificate will be issued to students who participate in all the activities & abide by all the Camp rules.
 
Food: Wholesome and hygienic vegetarian food would be served. Special Jain/Swaminarayan food is also served, if mentioned in the application form.
 
Medical Facilities in the form of  First aid would be available throughout the programme. All emergencies would be treated by the nearest available doctor/medical facility. If any participant/s needs to be taken to a clinic or hospital, they will be responsible for covering the doctor's fee, medical expenses, transport charges, and any other related costs.
 
Disclaimer: While all care will be taken for the safety of the participants, ANALA OUTDOORS, or any individual connected to it would not be held responsible for any accident or any unforeseen incident. Participants will have to look after their luggage throughout the journey as well as during the camp/tour. Doctor’s certificate would be required if the participant is undergoing any medical treatment, is over-weight or above 60 years.
ANALA OUTDOORS PVT.LTD. reserves  the unconditional right to refuse a booking/terminate a participant during the camp/eco-tour in event of unreasonable behaviour in such cases no refund will be given.

Dates: indicated are inclusive of travelling. Participants would leave Ahmedabad on the first day and reach back on the last day.

Eligibility: 11 to 22 years.
 

Charges: Rs. 26,400/- (From Ahmedabad by 3AC Train Journey Regular Coach)

Our Fee: is inclusive of accommodation, travelling from Ahmedabad (by different modes), food and GST. All the charges are per person.

*Cancellation charges will be applicable on total Programme cost. Please note that the booking is not transferable. Please bring original receipt for claiming the refund. The refund amount will be given by A/c Payee Cheque only.

(In case of a Government lockdown, the cancellation charges would be only Rs. 1000/-. Rest of the amount will be refunded. For any other reason, the regular cancellation policy will be applied).



 

 

HIMALAYAN CAMP - BAROT
TENTATIVE SCHEDULE
By Regular Coach

DAY 01: Depart from Sabarmati (BG) for Chandigarh in the morning by train in a 3 AC Regular Coach.
 
DAY 02: Arrive Chandigarh in the morning and leave for Barot by Ac bus. Arrive Barot Campsite at around 19:30. Tent allotment & dinner.
 
DAY 03: Orientation meeting at 07:00 in the morning. This first gathering is very important as it would help the campers to understand the objectives & activities of the camp. Zipline followed by a small trek through the forest after breakfast. The group will be back at the campsite for lunch. Introduction to River crossing and Flying fox in the evening.
 
DAY 04: Half-day trek to a Lapas Waterfall. The group will return at the camp site for lunch. Introduction to Waterfall Rappelling in the evening.

DAY 05: Introduction to Bridge Slithering in the morning. Trek to Betty’s house or Zero point after lunch.
 
DAY 06: Feedback session and photo session in the morning. Visit Barot town, Natural fountain and Dam after early lunch.
 
DAY 07: Depart early in the morning for Chandigarh. Arrive Chandigarh in the evening and depart for Sabarmati (BG) by 3 Ac Regular Coach.
 
DAY 08: Arrive Sabarmati (BG) in the afternoon.

•    Please note that this is a tentative schedule and may change as per the operational feasibility.
•    Final travel schedule will be ready 2 days before the departure.
•    In case if any Camp activity is cancelled due to weather condition or any other unforeseen reason/s, no refund will be given for that.

 

Reporting
  • Please mark your attendance with the group leader as per mentioned time and date given in the final itinerary.
  • Do not board the Train without Reporting.
Train Journey
  • Campers should not get down during the train journey at any station.
  • In case of any requirement, the group leader should be informed.
  • Campers are requested not to stand near the door of the train. 
  • Campers should avoid talking to strangers.
  • Please do not disturb the other passengers.
Camp Site
  • Accommodation would be in tents on 3/4 sharing basis, separate for boys and girls. All tents are equipped with mattresses & sleeping bags/quilts, have electricity and attached toilets & bathrooms.
  • The campsite is opp. Lohardi Waterfall, Barot Lohardi Road, roughly three km ahead from Barot Village.
Food
  • Wholesome & hygienic vegetarian food will be served, including breakfast, lunch and dinner even during the train journey.
  • Special Jain/Swaminarayan food is also served if mentioned in the application form.
Toilet & Bathing Facilities
  • All tents have attached toilets and bathrooms.
  • Hot water is available for bathing.
Weather
  • Usually the day temperature is pleasant but in case of rains, it may go down. Nights would be cold. 
  • The weather in the Himalayas is very unpredictable. It is advisable to carry enough woolens & raincoat. 
Safety & Discipline
  • The campers will be led by trained group leaders from Ahmedabad to the campsite & back.
  • There will be at least one female group leader in each batch.
  • Apart from these group leaders there will be enough people to look after them at the campsite.
  • All the adventure activities are done under the supervision of professional instructors and with all safety measures. 
  • The campsite is a safe place & we have an excellent rapport with the local people.
  • We are very strict with ourselves and campers. For safety reasons, the campers are not allowed to go out of the campsite without group leaders.
Communication
  • Cell Phones are allowed but not during Camp activities.
  • Parents will be updated about the whereabouts of the campers along with their photographs on WhatsApp on a daily basis.
  • Our Camp Director will be constantly in touch with ANALA office, so in case of any inquiry, you may contact our office on 079-26442289 or 079 26561359 (10:30 am to 08:00 pm.).
Emergency
  • In case of an emergency, parents may contact us on 09662299016/21 (08 pm to 10:30 am.) 
  • First – Aid kit will be available with the group leader throughout the programme.
  • Please give motion sickness medicine and their regular medicines if any. 
  • All emergencies would be treated by the nearest available doctor/medical facility. If any participant/s needs to be taken to a clinic or hospital, they will be responsible for covering the doctor's fee, medical expenses, transport charges, and any other related costs.
Photographs
  • We will be clicking the photographs of participants & the same can be viewed and downloaded from our website on daily basis from day 3 onwards after 9:30 pm. Please go to our home page, click on gallery - photos - Dalhousie Camp (respective Batch No.)
  • Photographs can also be viewed and shared from our facebook page and Insta handle. Go to www.facebook.com/analaoutdoors and click on like.
Things to be carried
  • A list of things to be carried is given with the itinerary. Bring all the things accordingly.
  • Day-pack, water bottle, sports shoes with proper grip and warm clothes, are essential.
  • Campers are advised to pack all their material in an easy to handle Rucksack.
  • Please tag all the belongings of the campers.
How Much Money
  • As such our charges include everything; still they may require some extra money for shopping/refreshments.
  • Give only as much as they can handle. 
Please Note
  • Please carry original photo ID proof.  The participants may have to pay a fine, wherever applicable in the absence of original photo ID.
  • Campers have to take care of their own luggage. We will not be responsible for any lost or damaged items.
  • Please pay the balance payment 30 days before the departure.
  • If you have not filled up the application form, do it at the earliest. The participant will not be allowed to indulge in any activity if the application form is not submitted.
  • The form contains space for special remarks from your side like sleep walking, allergy etc. 
  • If you have not mentioned, please fill it up at least 7 days before the departure. 
Certificate
  • A Specially designed certificate would be issued to all those campers who complete all the activities and abide by the Camp discipline.

 

Terms & Conditions for Camps
 
 
Cheques, NEFT/RTGS should be drawn in favour of ‘ANALA OUTDOORS PVT. LTD.’
 
Outstation cheques shall not be accepted.
 
Payment against dishonoured cheque/s shall have to be paid in cash with additional charge of Rs.200/- per cheque. 
 
The balance payment is to be paid atleast 30 days before the departure of the batch. If the balance payment is not made on time, it would automatically be considered cancelled without any prior intimation and no refund would be given in this regard. 
 
Camp may be cancelled if there is not enough strength, actual amount paid by the participant towards the camp will be refunded by A/c payee cheque only. No other claims will be entertained.
 
No refund shall be given if the participant terminates the camp at any point due to any reason.
 
Anala outdoors reserves the unconditional right to refuse a booking/terminate a participant on camp in event of unreasonable behavior at any time and no refund will be given in this regard.
 
The amount paid once is not-transferable to any other programme or to any other person. A batch in any programme is subject to cancellation if the total number of participants is below 20. Full refund will be given in such a case. No other claims will be entertained.
 
Jain food may be served on specific request, subject to availability.
 
In case the camp duration is extended due to unforeseen circumstances, each participant will have to pay Rs. 2000/-per head, per day to the group leader.
 
It shall be the participant's responsibility to collect the necessary travel documents from our office on time.
 
The organisers or any individual connected with the camp shall not be held responsible in case of any accident or any unforeseen natural calamity.
 
In any case of injury or severe illness where upon the participant has to be admitted to the hospital or sent back by flight or any other means of transport, then those charges shall be entirely borne by the parents and the expense has to be deposited at the office immediately.
 
Organisers will not be responsible towards any internal disputes arising with fellow participants.
 
We are not bound to provide name address or any other personal details of other participants.
 
The organisers shall not be held responsible for loss/theft of the participant’s luggage and belongings.
 
Anala outdoors has the right to use the participant's name, information and photographs in promotional materials, brochures and press releases.
